In fulfilling this commitment to protect people, property, and the environment, we provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements. To this end, we strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards that may result in property damage, accidents, personal injury or illness, and disregard for the environment.

We recognize that the responsibility for health and safety, and protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. This means that all employees are equally responsible for minimizing accidents and respecting the environment within our facilities and on our work sites. For this purpose, we have clearly defined safe work practices and job procedures in our company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy, ensuring that they are easily understood and applied by our employees.

We firmly believe that accidental loss can be controlled through good management combined with active employee involvement. Safety is therefore the direct responsibility of all managers, site foremen, employees, contractors, and sub-contractors: 1) all management activities comply with company Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements as they relate to planning, operating, and maintaining facilities and equipment; and 2) all employees are asked to perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.

Finally, we provide our employees with all of the safety and related training necessary to minimize any loss of our company’s human and physical resources. Employees participate in regular training and mentoring programs consisting of both in-house and contracted industry training.
